  • Staff are required to wear a mask if they are unvaccinated. Vaccinated staff are not required to wear a mask.
  • Remember, all masks need to be Y-appropriate and not demonstrate a negative message or theme.   
  • The World Health Organization suggests cleaning your hands before putting a mask on.  Individuals should be careful not to touch their eyes, nose, and mouth when removing their face covering and wash hands immediately after removing. Cloth masks should be routinely washed, if reusable.   
  • Stay home if you are not feeling well.  Ask yourself the following questions: 
    • Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19? 
    • Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or a sore throat? 
    • Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours? 
    • Have you had a new loss of taste or smell? 
    • Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours? 

You should notify your supervisor and self-quarantine for 14 days as recommended by the CDC.

You are not able to return to work until you are fever-free for 48 hours without the aid of a fever-reducing agent or a note from a medical professional. 

If you are not comfortable returning to work, you should notify your supervisor or reach out to Human Resources at hr@ymcavp.org.

Yes, these limits are based on square footage of areas and will be monitored that will be located throughout the facility.

We are following CDC guidelines for our cleaning protocol to include wiping down all high-touch surfaces no less than every hour.  Members will be encouraged to clean wellness equipment before and after each use and our Wellness staff will clean equipment after each member uses as well. 

Members and staff will be notified if a confirmed case is reported.
