Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Victory Family YMCA
On January 28, we proudly cut the ribbon on the newly renovated Victory Family YMCA, a milestone made possible by the power of community. This expansion creates more space for group exercise, specialized wellness programs, and family support, ensuring the Y can continue helping kids succeed, supporting healthy living, preventing drowning, and preparing teens for life. From accessible fitness opportunities to expanded programs like LIVESTRONG® and Parkinson’s wellness, this renovation reflects our commitment to serving every individual, at every stage of life.
As President and CEO, Adam Klutts shared, “This ribbon cutting is more than an expansion, it’s a promise to continue serving, inspiring, and uplifting every individual who walks through these doors.” We are deeply grateful to York County, Virginia, our Board of Supervisors and staff leaders, the Victory Steering Team, generous donors, and community partners who brought this vision to life. A special moment of the day included the naming of the Rob and Debbie Brown Wellness Wing, honoring a family whose steadfast support has helped shape the future of the Victory Family YMCA for generations.
