May is Water Safety Month, and at the Y, keeping kids and families safe in and around the water is a mission we take seriously every single day. Whether you're heading to the pool, a lake, or the backyard sprinklers, knowing the rules before you splash can make all the difference.

The YMCA of the Virginia Peninsula is excited to welcome community members ages 60 and older to experience everything the Y has to offer, at no cost, as part of our YMCA Active Aging Month Initiative.

On January 28,  we proudly cut the ribbon on the newly renovated Victory Family YMCA, a milestone made possible by the power of community. This expansion creates more space for group exercise, specialized wellness programs, and family support, ensuring the Y can continue helping kids succeed, supporting healthy living, preventing drowning, and preparing teens for life.
